The lessons of the Corporate Communications department cover all academic and practical capabilities that are relevant for professional communications management:


We convey to our students what communications managers need today in order to perform excellent communications activities. Managers in communications management need to plan and take control. That is why the lessons in the Corporate Communication department focus on strategy planning and evaluation processes, as well as the various fields of activity in communications management, in which the special features of each stakeholder groups are specifically analysed. Furthermore, global communication processes and international developments are integrated into the lessons.

We are convinced that successful communication requires profound knowledge with regard to the (communication) study background: Dealing with public opinion-forming and theories of communications management are just as essential for excellent communications activities as well-founded knowledge in the area of the German and international media system. Without knowledge about empirical social research methods, the instruments of communication controlling are ultimately barely comprehensible. Therefore, these scientific fields provide the foundation for academic education at Quadriga, on which further courses are based.


Our lessons rely on the entire bandwidth of didactic instruments - from lectures and discussions, to seminars with the handling of case studies, right up to comprehensive practical projects. When working on case studies and practical projects, we involve speakers with relevant practical experience on a regular basis. This provides case studies and practical projects with a very real character. This creates a teaching concept that is diversified and highly relevant for all participants and which our students benefit considerably from.
